ADVANCED DIPLOMA III IN GERMAN (C1 Level):

At the Advanced Diploma III the student will complete CEFR Level C1.

 

Level C1: Expert language skills - The student

- Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts and also grasp implicit meanings.

- Can express himself spontaneously and fluently, without having to search for words more clearly.

- Can use the language effectively and flexibly in social and professional life or in training and studies.

- Can express himself in a clear, structured and detailed manner on complex issues and use various means of linking text appropriately.

Eligibility: S.S.C. / I.C.S.E. / C.B.S.E. i.e. Certificate of having cleared the 10th Standard Examination recognised by this University +

Advanced Diploma Programme in German conducted by this or any other University/Institution, which is recognised by this University,

OR,

Clearing the B2 of Max Mueller Bhavans in India or of any Goethe Institute worldwide,

Fees:

Tuition fees: Rs. 8100/- per annum.  (Fees subject to change)

Exam fees: To be paid in December

Duration: One Academic Year.    

 

Timings:

 

Saturdays: 2.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. & 5.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m.

Sundays:   9.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. & 11.30 a.m. – 1.30 p.m. (2 hrs per paper i.e. total 8 hrs)

 

Exam:

Total 400 marks

Paper I: Advanced Structural Studies of German III = 100 marks

Paper II: Writing Skills and Literary Texts III = 100 marks

Paper III: Reading and Listening Comprehension III = 100 marks

 

Orals: Speaking Skills (30 marks) + Continuous Evaluation (45 marks) + Viva (25 marks) = 100 marks

External candidates may appear for this exam by paying Rs. 4,000/- and filling up the exam form by 31st January each year.

Standard of  Passing: Minimum of 50% in each paper of the written exam and 50% in oral exam separately shall be required for passing.
